You know that it is always about excuses with Allardyce. Of course you can blame two setpieces on losing a game if your whole game plan is centered around not conceding and nicking ONE goal yourself.
What happens when we score and have a lead ? We don't strive to add to the load and score one or two more, we sit back, invite pressure and more often then not get a draw or even defeat from a winning position.
Allardyce is not a positive manager. Or tactics are negative and defensive and so is our mindset. That translates to the players. I'm not disputing we might actually have good team spirit. But i don't believe our players are all enjoying our football these days...

You would have to say our Sam seems to be cracking under the pressure.
Anything but take some responsibility himself. Mirrors modern day culture/society really :)

It doesn't take a genius to clock who needs a quack. "When asked if he already had a psychologist in place, Allardyce said: “Not at the moment.
“But I am thinking of looking at that again to get the players’ frame of mind right. It is obviously very important.
“We had a real problem against Southampton. There was a problem retaining information. We lost the game on not covering two set plays and that was a real kick in the teeth for me.
“We do a lot of practise with the players - on their iPhones and their iPads. We clearly didn’t do things correctly and that was a major let-down for me."
Cuckoo cunt.

Did some think they should be playing for Real Madrid?

So he believes the players have an overinflated opinion of their own talents and are complacent?
How is this possible under the humble once in a lifetime tactically revolutionary genius that is Samuel Allardyce?
